Chief Minister’s Nava Kerala Post Doctoral Fellowship (CMNPF)

The Chief Minister’s Nava Kerala Post Doctoral Fellowship, announced in the Kerala State Budget 2021–22, offers monthly support of ₹50,000–₹1,00,000 and a yearly contingency grant of up to ₹2 lakhs for two years. Managed by the Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC), the fellowship promotes research aligned with the state’s development goals in areas like eco-diversity, agriculture, digital technology, genetics, climate change, and indigenous culture.


Research must be carried out in recognized institutions within Kerala under the guidance of a qualified mentor.


KSHEC periodically invites applications, and selections are made through a transparent, merit-based process led by a panel of distinguished scholars.
