The
Higher Education Council would give financial assistance to
colleges/ college clusters for organizing training
programmes/seminars. Individual colleges will be given a
maximum of Rs. 5000/- for holding one-day programmes and
college clusters, a maximum of Rs.25000/- for holding
two-day programmes. The training programmes/seminars will
be held on the reports on Grading at the Undergraduate
Level/ Restructuring Undergraduate Education/ Cluster of
Colleges/ State Policy on Higher Education prepared by the
Council.

One-day Programmes could be conducted by individual colleges
on
Grading at the Undergraduate Level
only.
Two-day programmes could be held by clusters of colleges on
two or more of the above reports.
The
programmes may be held from the first week of July 2008.
The
Council will depute one resource person for the programme at
the expense of the Council. The colleges concerned may also
invite other resource persons of their choice for the
conduct of the programme.
Claims for reimbursement of expenses
(maximum of
Rs.5,000/-
for one-day programmes organized by individual colleges and
Rs.25,000/-
for two day programmes organized by college clusters)
will have to be made within two weeks of the conduct of the
programme. Reimbursement will be subject to the production
of statement of expenditure, utilization certificate and
proceedings of the programme certified by the head/heads of
the organizing institution/ institutions.
Application
forms for one-day programmes by individual colleges and
two-day programmes by college clusters may be downloaded and
submitted by post to the undersigned by the
Principal/Principals of the organizing college/colleges, on
or before 30th June 2008. |
